Damon® Brackets

damon.pngAt our office, we no longer offer standard, traditional metal braces. Why? Because Damon braces offer all the same features with improved efficiency and comfort. Damon braces use special "sliding-door" brackets, more formally known as "self-ligating" brackets. This means that Damon brackets are attached to the archwire through elastics. This lets them slide along the archwire during treatment, allowing for more precise application of force to the tooth, faster tooth movement, and improved patient comfort during treatment. Damon braces truly are a superior alternative to traditional brackets: they're more comfortable, move teeth more efficiently, and reduce your treatment time with braces.

Damon® Clear Brackets

damon_clear.pngDamon Clear works much the same way as regular Damon Braces, with one key difference: instead of stainless steel, the brackets are made from a Polycrystalline alumina (PCA) material that blends in with teeth and resists staining from coffee, mustard, red wine, and any other colored food or drink. Because the brackets are clear, they blend in perfectly with teeth and make the braces much more discreet – the only thing that's really visible is the thin metal archwire running across your teeth. And, because Damon brackets are tieless, you won't have to worry about elastic band discoloration, which is a significant concern with normal clear braces.

Invisalign® Clear Aligners

invisalign.pngInvisalign is a revolutionary alternative to treatment with braces, using a fundamentally different system to move the teeth. Instead of brackets and wires, Invisalign relies on a series of clear, removable trays, called aligners, to straighten teeth. The aligners are virtually invisible when worn and easy to pop in and out for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Because the aligners are so discreet, you'll never have to worry about having braces for pictures, presentations at work, or other milestones – almost no one will know you're straightening your teeth. Plus, because you take them out to eat, drink, brush, and floss, you can still enjoy all your favorite foods and oral hygiene is as easy as ever!

Invisalign® Teen Aligners

invisalign.pngWhile the discreet appearance and convenient removability on Invisalign already make it well-suited to busy, socially conscious teenagers, Invisalign offers a specialized form of treatment specifically tailored to the teenage lifestyle: Invisalign Teen. In addition to all the benefits of traditional Invisalign, Invisalign Teen aligners come with built-in Blue Dot Wear Indicators, which tell, doctors, parents, and teens themselves if the aligners are being worn long enough or if the patient needs to be a little more diligent. The aligners can also be made with special "eruption tabs" to hold space open for unerupted teeth, and each Invisalign Teen treatment course comes with 6 free replacement aligners so there's no need to worry if any get lost or broken. Truly, Invisalign Teen is the perfect orthodontic treatment for today's teenagers.
